Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 01: Lahore – Thal – Kumrat Valley
Your journey begins with an early departure from Lahore, with breakfast served en route. On arrival in Thal, hop into 4×4 jeeps for the scenic ride into Kumrat Valley. Spend the day exploring the roaring Kumrat Waterfall and soaking in the beauty of the surrounding deodar forest before heading back to camp as evening sets in. Overnight stay in Kumrat/Thal (steel huts or hotel).
Day 02: Kumrat – Taqi Banda – Jahaz Banda
After breakfast, jeeps take you to Taqi Banda, the starting point of today’s trek. From here, the trail winds through forest and mountain terrain up to Jahaz Banda — a sprawling alpine meadow that feels like it belongs to another world. Set up camp, enjoy dinner under the stars, and rest for the day ahead.
Day 03: Jahaz Banda – Katora Lake – Jahaz Banda
Rise early for a 6:00 AM breakfast before setting off on the 3–4 hour trek to Katora Lake, a glacial lake famous for its turquoise waters and dramatic mountain backdrop. After taking in the views, trek back down to Jahaz Banda for another night of camping under the open sky.
Day 04: Jahaz Banda – Thal – Lahore
Trek back to Taqi Banda and transfer into jeeps for the ride down to Thal, where breakfast awaits. From there, board the coaster for the long drive back to Lahore, arriving after midnight. End of services.
